God is a Giggle, A Story of a life changing experience

Written in 2010, posted on my website Blog April, 2016 One week in March of 1990 I suddenly found myself skiing in Snowbird, Utah in a total white-out blizzard. I could not see 3 feet in front of me and had no idea how to get down the mountain. I am still grateful for the divine guidance, the inner voice, that guided me to run left and literally ski into 4 snow covered people from Australia. It was one of those day that skiing alone was truly dangerous so I asked this group of skiers if I could ski down with them. Doing so started a week what would wonderfully change my life! For 6 days we skied, partied and laughed and I had more fun than at any other time in my life!!! Why it stands out as such vivid memories, in addition to the skiing being fantastic and the laughter and fun a full 10 on my joy meter, is that the morning the Aussie’s had to leave, after saying good-bye, I went back went to my hotel room to meditate and during the meditation I had a vision that has stayed with me all these years. This vision and the sense of connection with God/Source that it creates within me has become a part of my daily meditation. Plus, the gift I was given by this experience is a core piece of what I teach. It is also a part of the message in the book I wrote, Take Two Cookies and Call me in the Morning, A story of how to connect in a disconnected world. During the meditation I learned that “God is a GIGGLE.” “That the emotions humans feel when sad, depressed, grieving or angry all might motivate us to turn to a Higher Power for comfort, for answers, for a sense of connection, etc. But the sense of CONNECTION that we experience when we are in our joy and laughter is the real sense of Love and JOY that is the powerful creative energy that we call God/Source”. This message came to me with a vision of me walking hand in hand with God/Source as my partner. Not something separate from me that I have to seek, but as me in partnership with the Universal Source of Energy that is within ALL of us and within everything. Because of the vision I had that morning (and still see daily) and the powerful life changing experience that the vision created, I just ‘knew” that I wanted a life of JOY. In that moment I knew I was embarking on a journey to release ALL that blocked me from a life of JOY and Inner Peace. I am able to report it has been a long, hard, challenging, exciting and worthwhile journey. 4 months later in July 1990 I left working for the Ski Tour Company, Ski Organizers, Inc., that I had started in 1980 and had sold in December of 1988. I bought myself out of the contract, working for the new owners was not joy. The week with the Aussie’s and the meditation experience had changed me and I knew I was ready to move on. By the Fall of 1991 I had done enough training in the new field of Energy...

WORDS OF WISDOM

WORDS OF WISDOM

During the Spiritual Awareness Training, you will have the option of additional mentoring with Dr. Nancy R. Harris, DSS. Mentoring is done via email. After sending Dr. Nancy an email about what is going on in your life based on the information that you worked on in the workshops, she will respond to you with a detailed Spirit Directed Channeled response to your inquiry. Below are some excerpts from mentoring sessions with students. A typical mentoring response is 1 to 3 pages long! Mentoring Replies Inquiry: I had a random thought yesterday. How much of our annoyance with others is actually our energy projected onto them? Mentoring Reply: YES your annoyance of others is your own energy projected onto them, but what I am aware of is that what you are projecting is your lack of acceptance of them in that moment. People will not be annoying when you learn to accept yourself. When you can fully accept yourself for who you really are, your “TRUE SELF” (workshop 4), you will be more open to allowing others to be themselves. You do not have to LIKE their behavior and those whose behavior is far too uncomfortable you will not choose to have as friends or connect with more than necessary. What has to come first is SELF ACCEPTANCE! As up progress through the workshops you will experience the self-expectance easily growing because as you access, trust and follow your inner guidance/intuition you will daily become aligned with your True Self, which is your Soul, and the part of you that “KNOWS”.   Inquiry: I am finding it easier to trust my judgements, but I find it very difficult for others around me to trust my judgements. Mentoring Reply: Please be willing to see how the word “judgements” instead of “insights”, “inner wisdom”, “intuitive knowing” or just “intuition” separates you from others and creates the energy that blocks them honoring what you KNOW! CHANGING THE WORD AND BELIEF THAT THESE ARE YOUR JUDGEMENTS TO THESE AWARENESSES ARE YOUR “KNOWING” will shift a lot of the energy that is coming from you so that others can hear and feel what you are saying.  The energy of judgement is energetically pushing them to disagree with you, not know what you are saying and in turn disconnect. Please read the following out loud: “In my judgement the sky is blue!” “Based on my intuition the sky is blue!” and “I have a sense that I trust is coming from my inner guidance (or even spiritual awareness) that the sky is blue.”  How would you want others to communicate with you?   Inquiry: I had a new realization come up since our Spiritual Awareness Training private session last week. I feel like once I’ve made a commitment to someone in a relationship, there is no turning back. That seems to be what scares me the most. That I can’t change my mind later down the road once I’ve actually committed myself to someone, even when my gut is screaming at me to end it! Mentoring Reply: What I am sensing is that there is some programing from childhood and maybe religion that sex and commitment mean marriage/the rest of your life.  May I suggest you really deeply feel and address why your gut is screaming...
